Spring 2023 Survey Reports
The Spring 2023 ACHA-NCHA III Reference Group consists of 78,024 students at 125 institutions that surveyed between January and June 2023. The mean response rate was 11% and the median was 10%. Of the participating schools, 64% were public institutions. Most schools (91%) surveying were 4-year institutions. Nearly half (45%) of these institutions were located in the South. Additionally, the largest proportion (30%) reported student enrollments of 20,000 or more.

The Spring 2023 survey period yielded a final data set consisting of 21,047 graduate and professional students at 94 schools.
Fall 2022
Fall 2022 Survey Reports
The Fall 2022 ACHA-NCHA III Reference Group consists of 33,774 students at 51 institutions that surveyed between August and December 2022. The mean response rate was 11% and the median was 9%. Of the participating schools, 61% were public institutions. Most schools (86%) surveying were 4-year institutions. Over a third (37%) of these institutions were located in the South. Additionally, the largest proportion (24%) reported student enrollments of 5,000-9,999.

The Fall 2022 survey period yielded a final data set consisting of 23,866 undergraduate students at 51 schools.
