The Fall 2024 ACHA-NCHA IIIb Reference Group consists of 33,763 students at 48 institutions that surveyed between August and December 2024. The mean response rate was 10% and the median was 9%. Of the participating schools, 54% were public institutions. Most (88%) schools surveying were 4-year institutions. The largest proportion (44%) of these institutions were located in the South. Most schools had 5,000 or more students, with 11 institutions in each of the 5,000–9,999, 10,000–19,999, and 20,000+ categories.
