Rebecca Block, MS, CHES, is a certified health education specialist, mindfulness and yoga instructor (RYT-500), and pain reprocessing therapy coach committed to advancing well-being in higher education. She directs the Mindful University Project and the Well-being for Life
and Learning Training at the University of Rochester, leading initiatives that support students, faculty, and staff in developing practical tools for resilience, mindfulness, and sustainable well-being. Her work focuses on integrating evidence-based practices to foster both individual and community wellbeing. Rebecca is particularly interested in creating sustainable structures and cultures that support well-being within high-demand academic environments, bridging personal practice with systems-level approaches to promote a culture of well-being on campus.
