Michael P. McNeil, EdD, CHES, FACHA

Dr. Michael McNeil is the Associate Vice President, Administration and Chief of Staff for Columbia Health. He joined Columbia Health in 2006. Dr. McNeil has an undergraduate degree in Sociology, a Masters in Health Education, a Doctorate in Higher Education Leadership, is a Certified Health Education Specialist, and a Fellow of the American College Health Association.

Dr. McNeil’s professional experience includes being a nationally recognized expert on college health along with teaching future generations of public health leaders. He is an adjunct assistant professor of Sociomedical Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health where he specializes in evaluation of health programs and mentoring and advising masters students through the thesis process. A proponent of evidence- and theory-informed practice, he remains committed to ensuring students have access to the programs, resources, and support to aid them in the achievement of their personal and academic goals.
