ACHF Student Travel Funding Opportunity

Max Carey graduated from Alma College in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science with a focus in public health. Max attained a Master of Public Health with a specialization in health behavior and health education at the University of Michigan in May 2024. Max has worked in the U-M Well-being Collective for the past year, where he has worked on health promotion policies for faculty, staff, and students at U-M and assisted in writing two project proposals for green architecture and expression of health through the arts. Max has served in many positions on campus over the past several years, including positions in housing and student life, Division III sports, and as acting supervisor for residence life employees. Max seeks to continue his work in public health and address social determinants of health that are present on a local, state, and national level.
