ACHF Student Travel Funding Opportunity

Inaya Momin is an honors public health student at the University of Texas at Austin, focused on improving health and well-being within her university community. As an active member of the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC), she collaborates on health projects and uses student feedback to support the university’s health service system. Through her leadership, she bridges the gap between student needs and available services. In addition to her SHAC involvement, Inaya is a licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Texas, leveraging her classroom and field experiences to emphasize the importance of immediate care in emergency situations. She also volunteers with Longhorn EMS, where she assists in harm reduction presentations to help students minimize risks associated with drug and alcohol use. Her commitment extends to her role as a Health Communication Assistant at the University of Texas at Austin’s Longhorn Wellness Center, where she implements harm-reduction initiatives, utilizing various strategies to provide students with resources addressing high-risk alcohol use. Her contributions reflect her genuine commitment to creating a safer and healthier campus environment for all students.
