ACHA LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD

2026 Recipient:
Deb Hubbell, RPH, FACHA  |  University of Connecticut (retired)

Deborah (Deb) Hubbell, RPh, FACHA, has been a distinguished leader in college health and wellness. Over a nearly three-decade career at the University of Connecticut, she served as both pharmacist and administrator within the AAAHC-accredited Student Health and Wellness program, advising senior leadership and strengthening clinical support services across pharmacy, laboratory, radiology, and health information systems.

Named a Fellow of the American College Health Association in 2015, Deb has given generously to the profession through board and committee service—including member-at-large on the Board of Directors and membership on the Finance, Audit, and Bylaws Committees and the External Funding Task Force—in addition to chairing the Pharmacy Section and serving as its program planner. Deb currently serves as the pharmacy advisor on the Continuing Education Committee.

Her commitment to care extends beyond campus. For nearly 40 years, she has served as a long-term care consultant pharmacist for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In retirement, Deb continues to be an active presence on local college campuses. She remains dedicated to student well-being as a volunteer, providing pet therapy alongside her beloved golden retrievers, Shelby and Tucker.
