The ACHA Data Hub: Your Gateway to Smarter Campus Health Strategy

The ACHA College Health and Well-Being Data Hub is a powerful new platform designed to unite the most important student health data in one place—making it easier than ever for campus leaders, health professionals, and policymakers to drive student success through informed decision-making.

One Hub. Endless Insight.

Developed in response to the increasing demand for a comprehensive view of college health and wellness, the Data Hub helps colleges and universities advance both academic achievement and health equity across campus communities nationwide.

The ACHA Data Hub brings together key data streams to give institutions a 360° view of student health:

  • Campus health care utilization
  • Administrative data on services and staffing
  • Campus health policies and environmental factors
  • National health behavior and risk surveys
  • Student demographics and academic outcomes
  • Institutional characteristics from national education datasets
The six primary benefits of ACHA's Data Hub are: reduce health inequity; foster academic success; improve quality outcomes; foster inter-university collaboration; inform policy makers; and improve operational efficiency.

Visualize, Customize, Benchmark

Using Microsoft Power BI, the Data Hub delivers interactive, ready-to-use reports that make your data work harder for you. Drill down by institutional demographic filters or student-level filters (NCHA reports only) . Save custom views, export visualizations, and benchmark your performance against peer institutions—all with just a few clicks.

With the ACHA Data Hub, you’ll have the tools to measure what matters, identify trends, and take action to improve the health and success of your student population.

By connecting multiple datasets into one dynamic platform, we’re creating a clearer picture of what students need—and how institutions can respond.

Key Data Sources Integrated into the ACHA Data Hub:

ACHA Institutional Profile Survey (IPS)

Since 2018, ACHA has surveyed institutional members to collect detailed information from on campus health and counseling services, staffing, wellness programming, facilities, budgets, and more. This annual update provides essential context for understanding each institution’s infrastructure and services.

ACHA National College Health Assessment (NCHA)
Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)

Looking Ahead: More Data, Deeper Insights

As the ACHA Data Hub evolves, we plan to expand our integrated datasets to provide even richer analysis and benchmarking. Future data sources may include:

By uniting these diverse data sources, the ACHA Data Hub empowers colleges and universities to take informed, strategic action that enhances student health and drives institutional success.

What Data Hub Users Are Saying

"The Data Hub has been extremely useful as a resource for benchmarking against other college health organizations.  The platform is user friendly, and the charts are visually appealing, which helps when disseminating information to others within the organization.  Within the platform we are able to see results for all respondents or narrow it down to organizations that are more like us, such as by student population size.  This is especially important when we are assessing whether or not we are functioning similarly to our peers. I have been very impressed with the platform."
