Capital Campaign: Healthy Students Our Gift to the Future
As we celebrate 100 years, we invite you to join our campaign to transform the future of student health and well-being. ACHF seeks to create resources with life-enhancing potential and programs to support the needs of currently enrolled college students with resources that help college health workers adapt to our changing times. This campaign offers several new opportunities that will help to address the rapidly changing needs of the 20 million college students we serve. You can help us plant the seeds of success!

Foundation Events Support and Sponsorships
ACHF seeks to build partnerships with companies and foundations to support our 2020 national events. These events engage our members through our regional affiliates to provide local networking and education opportunities across the country. These events include; Regional Power Networking Dinners (3 to 5 annually) and our Fall Vaccine and Mental Health Summit.

ACHF Unrestricted
This is an unrestricted fund that supports projects and activities benefiting Foundation fundraising efforts. The issue of health and well-being has never been more important to college students. On every campus, we are helping to push the boundaries of how to improve health and well-being, while shaping healthier lifestyles including tackling the mental, social, and community factors that are intertwined into each issue. For individuals, corporations, foundations and estate gift planning, we offer a variety of giving options to accommodate your philanthropic interests and goals.

Foundation Endowment Fund
ACHF's Endowment Fund is a permanent fund where the principal is invested and the earnings from the fund are distributed annually to ACHF to provide support for identified strategic priorities, special projects and activities benefiting the field of college health. Endowed gifts become a part of ACHF permanent endowment, meaning they will benefit ACHF and ACHA programs forever.

Aetna Student Health Fund
This is an unrestricted fund that supports projects and activities benefiting college health.

UnitedHealthcare Student Resources Fund
Earnings from this fund will be used to support annual meeting programming and professional development activities, benefiting ACHA members.

Murray DeArmond Student Activity Fund
Benefits the American College Health Association's Student/Consumer Section at ACHA's Annual Meetings. Disbursements will be determined and approved by a majority of the ACHF Board of Directors. Funding is also used to support ACHF Student Travel Awards. Disbursements are determined and approved by a review committee appointed by the ACHF Board.

Stephan D. Weiss, PhD Mental Health Fund for Higher Ed
Supports efforts to promote and improve the quality of mental health care to college students. Disbursements may include financial awards or funding support for educational activities at ACHA meetings. The Fund provides support in perpetuity for the Dorosin Lectures at ACHA meetings. Disbursements will be determined and approved by a majority of the ACHF Board of Directors with approval from the fund benefactor.

Health Promotion in Higher Education Fund
Earnings from this fund will be used to support and perpetuate the evolution of health in higher education by advancing the process of school and community health through capacity building, service, and research within the field.

Kathy Mac Fund
Earnings from this fund will offer funding to partially offset meeting registration, hotel and travel expenses to attend the ACHA Annual Meeting. The scholarships are granted to nursing students and nurse practitioners who demonstrate a strong interest in improving the well-being of the students, faculty and staff that they serve.

Gallagher Koster Innovative Practices in College Health
This fund supports student health centers in the development of innovative practices that promote broader access to quality health care for students.

Professional Nursing Fund
Earnings from this fund will be used to support, enhance, develop, or create professional development activities focusing on the practice of nursing.

Clifford B. Reifler Fund
This fund was established through a generous bequest from the estate of the late Dr. Reifler. The earnings from this fund are used exclusively to enhance the Journal of American College Health, an official publication of ACHA, and Impact, an official publication of the American College Health Foundation. Dr. Reifler's family is notified of the names of persons making contributions to this fund.

Ayers/Battle/Thomas Diversity Fund
Earnings from this fund are used to encourage and promote diversity within ACHA institutions of higher education by addressing the health issues of minority and LGBTQ+ students.

Josh Kaplan Fund for Clinical Medicine
The purpose of this fund is to support presentations and professional development activities focusing on the practice of clinical medicine that benefit ACHA members and college health.
