Grounded in a reproductive well-being framework in which “…all people have equitable access to the information, services, systems and support they need to have control over their bodies, and to make their own decisions related to sexuality and reproduction throughout their lives” (Axelson et al., 2022, p. S505), the ACHA Reproductive Rights Task Force (RRTF) designed this guidance to assist its members in ensuring the provision of comprehensive reproductive health care services, offering a broad menu of options to meet the unique needs of diverse campus communities.
This toolkit is intended to be used in conjunction with the ACHA Guidelines: Recommendations for Providing Reproductive Health Care in a Changing Landscape, published in June 2023. Using the toolkit framework, colleges can assess current access to reproductive health care in their community. In addition, the toolkit provides guidance and relevant resources to help campus professionals navigate the changing landscape in reproductive health care and develop strategies to mitigate the impact of legislation that reduces access to comprehensive reproductive health care.
Caveat: This toolkit is a curated list of selected resources; it is not intended to be comprehensive and it may not remain updated or reflective of current best practices. However, it does provide a starting place for campus partners seeking to improve reproductive health care on their campuses.
