A social media toolkit to promote HPV vaccination awareness among college students, featuring images for Twitter and Instagram, a printable flyer, and an infographic.

The American College Health Foundation (ACHF), with support from Merck & Co., Inc., developed a social media toolkit aimed at college health professionals to enhance education and awareness of HPV vaccination among the college-aged population. The toolkit includes compelling images designed for use on Twitter and Instagram, alongside a customizable printable flyer and infographic. HPV is the most prevalent sexually transmitted infection, yet HPV vaccination rates remain well below target levels, This toolkit focuses on encouraging students to catch up on their HPV vaccinations to prevent this infection and its long-term risks.

The toolkit supports the #GenZCanBeatHPVCampaign, emphasizing the importance of the HPV vaccine, which is safe, effective, and can prevent over 90% of HPV-related cancers. Despite endorsements from all major health organizations, HPV vaccination continues to be plagued by mis- and disinformation, making this campaign timely and crucial. The social media images are available for free through the ACHA online store.
