An Opportunity to Improve the Health of Campus Populations
An ACHF partnership with Pfizer, Inc.
A thriving campus starts with a strong commitment to health. One of the most effective ways to safeguard our communities is through comprehensive immunization programs, ensuring protection for individual students and the campus as a whole.
ACHF, with funding provided by Pfizer, Inc, is making funds available through the Increasing Campus Vaccine Coverage (ICVC) Grant Program to college or university health centers/services, immunization programs, or health sciences academic programs with programs aimed at increasing vaccine rates for student populations with low vaccine coverage.
Due to historically low immunization rates and the seriousness of meningococcal disease and the risk it poses to college students, the focus of this grant program includes increasing vaccination for meningococcal disease (ACWY and B) and at least one other vaccine preventable disease (e.g., influenza, HPV, or others).
This grant program seeks to support college and university student populations with low vaccine coverage, which historically have included those who face systemic barriers to accessing resources, services, and opportunities, often due to socioeconomic status, geographic isolation, or other factors. Examples include low-income individuals, people of color, persons with disabilities, rural communities, individuals with limited English proficiency, LGBTQ+ populations, and others.
Awarded campuses will receive grants between $10,000-$20,000 to support their 2025-26 Academic Year programs.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) period is now closed. Awardees will be announced August 2025.
