Shaina Murtaugh is a Physician Assistant specializing in gynecology at University of Wisconsin–Madison University Health Services. As the Associate Director of Gynecology and Specialty Clinics, she supports the gynecology, sexual health, community health, and nutrition teams. Shaina’s leadership has been instrumental in expanding outreach initiatives through Medical Services, fostering collaborations with various UHS departments (including Mental Health Services), and engaging with other departments and student organizations across campus. Her innovative approach aims to extend care beyond clinic walls, ensuring students receive care that meets their individual needs. Shaina also serves on the university’s Institutional Review Board, where her insight and content expertise help maintain the highest standards of human research protection at UW. Her dedication to advancing health care and empowering students exemplifies her remarkable impact within the university community.
