Samantha Warren, MPH, MCHES, CPH

Samantha is the Health Promotion Specialist with the Center for Prevention and Outreach (CPO) at Stony Brook University. Samantha works with the Physical Health and Disease Prevention team at CPO. She leads “Protect yOUR Health Interns” and workshops and manages the health product distribution program through CPO. Samantha supports CPO’s relationships with community and on-campus partner organizations to provide services to students, including STI and HIV testing. Samantha received her bachelor’s in science from Tulane University and her master’s in public health with a specialization in health promotion, education, and behavior from the University of South Carolina in 2014. Samantha is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. Samantha has worked with college students on campuses across the country and is passionate about helping students take charge of their own health through education and self-advocacy.
