Dr. M. Dolores Cimini is a New York State licensed psychologist, Inaugural Director of the Center for Behavioral Health Promotion and Applied Research, and Senior Research Scientist in the School of Education at the University at Albany, SUNY. She has led comprehensive efforts in research-to-practice translation, addressing college student behavioral health for the past three decades with over $15 Million in federal, state, and foundation support.

Dr. Cimini has edited two books, including a volume focused on college student health and well-being entitled, “Promoting Behavioral Health and reducing Risk Among College Students: A Comprehensive Approach” (2018). In addition to her volunteer work with ACHA and the New York State College Health Association, Dr. Cimini has served as a member of the National Advisory Council of the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, and the Board for Advancement of Psychology and the Public Interest of the American Psychological Association.

She was recognized with presidential awards by the White House in 2012 and 2018 for her work in promoting access to STEM for minoritized students and early career professionals.
