Keila Strick is the Co-Clinical Director at the Fried Center for the Advancement of Potential (FCAP) at University of Virginia’s Student Health and Wellness (SHW) and a lecturer within the UVA’s Kinesiology Department. A proud UVA alumna (Class of 2017) and Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from the University of Southern California (Class of 2021), Keila merges clinical expertise with educational leadership to advance student wellness and experiential learning in college health.
Keila helped launch the FCAP clinic within UVA’s SHW, which began serving students in Fall 2023. FCAP is a student-driven functional exercise clinic that provides affordable one-on-one care for clients whose needs may fall outside traditional insurance coverage. Its mission is to optimize physical and mental function through exercise-based interventions that promote long-term health across ability levels. As co-clinical director, Keila co-leads FCAP’s internship program, which offers pre-health students meaningful, hands-on clinical experience in a real-world setting. Keila is also the recipient of a 2025 Jefferson Trust grant supporting the expansion of the FCAP Intern Training Program.
