Dr. Jodi DeMunter hails from Maryland originally and has many wonderful memories of growing up close to Washington, DC. After college at the University of Michigan and medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, she was thrilled to head to the Pacific Northwest for family medicine residency training at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU). She spent her first ten years caring for patients in a mission-based primary care clinic before joining the OHSU Student Health and Wellness Center (SHW) in 2015. Over her time at SHW, she has worked closely with other leaders to expand health and wellness programming, including the development of food security resources. She is deeply grateful to work with such incredible colleagues and proud to be part of a department that so closely shares her values. The opportunity to positively impact the lives of our future health care professionals and scientists makes her job exceptionally rewarding.
