Jodell has been a nurse for 31 years, graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1994. She has worked in various nursing roles, including L&D and ER before going back to school. She has been a nurse practitioner in women’s health since 2008 and a family nurse practitioner since 2012, graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in both programs. As an NP, she has worked in retail health as well as in a non-profit family planning clinic in Lincoln, Nebraska. She served as the executive director and nurse practitioner providing women’s health services in the southeast Nebraska area.

She now practices college health as an APRN at Doane University in Crete, Nebraska. She is currently the Nebraska Member-at-Large in the Central College Health Association affiliate of ACHA.
