Dana Tasson (he/him) earned his BS and MD from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He completed a psychiatry residency at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, Oregon and is board certified in psychiatry. He has worked in college health for all of his career and currently serves as the Associate Vice Provost for Student Health and Wellbeing at Portland State University. Dana has been active in ACHA for the last 12 years. He served as vice president and president of the Pacific Coast College Health Association and on the ACHA board as member at large and treasurer. His professional interests include college student mental health, student insurance, health disparities, and behavioral intervention teams. He lives in Portland, Oregon, with his husband Greg and their cat Myrtle. He enjoys experiencing the beauty of the pacific northwest, travel, and cooking for family and friends.
