As an organization dedicated to well-being in higher education, ACHA believes that for a campus community to be truly healthy, it must be guided by the values of multicultural inclusion, respect, and equity. Students, faculty, and staff cannot reach their full potential in an atmosphere in which they do not feel safe.
The ongoing conflict in Israel and Gaza is impacting student and staff well-being across higher education. Over the past two months, ACHA members have experienced or witnessed — either through media, or stories from students, colleagues, or loved ones — the painful losses and the emotional toll of this ongoing conflict.
ACHA recognizes the impact this conflict has on the health and well-being of our students and the college health professionals who serve them. We are actively exploring educational programming to help our members care for our campus communities in these challenging times. In the meantime, we offer the following suggested resources that may be helpful to our members.
