Open Positions

President-Elect: chairs PCCHA meetings in the absence of the President, collaborates with the President to establish annual objectives, identifies potential appointees for Member-at-Large positions, and assists the President as requested. The President-elect will automatically succeed to the position of President. The President-elect is a member of the Executive Board. (3-year commitment)

Vice-President-Elect: succeeds the Vice President and supports the work of the Vice-President. The Vice-President-Elect will automatically succeed to the position of Vice-President and is a member of the Executive Board. (The Vice President role is responsible for overseeing coordination of the annual regional conference, and professional development activities) (2-year commitment)

Secretary: assists the President and other officers as requested. The Secretary is responsible for recording and posting the minutes of the PCCHA business meetings to the website. The Secretary is responsible for ensuring PCCHA By-Laws align with the ACHA By-Laws and recommending changes, if any, to the Executive Board for vote. The Secretary will also be responsible for publishing quarterly PCCHA newsletters. The Secretary is a member of the Executive Board. (2-year commitment)

Treasurer: serves as chair of the Finance Committee comprising of the Treasurer, President and Immediate Past President. The Treasurer is responsible for preparing the monthly budget and for overseeing the financial operations which include reimbursements, deposits, accounts receivable/payable tasks, and fiscal budget reconciliation. The Treasurer reconciles the transfer of dues with the current membership list from ACHA. The Treasurer reports on the financial operation and presents the budget for approval at the annual business meeting. The Treasurer is a member of the Executive Board. (2-year commitment)

Director of Grants and Awards: oversees the call for submissions, convenes the Grants Committee, reviews submissions, and makes subsequent recommendations to the Executive Board. The Director of Grants and Awards presents the grants and publicizes the results. The Director of Grants and Awards oversees the call for submissions, convenes the Recognition Awards Committee, reviews submissions, and makes subsequent recommendations to the Executive Board. The Director of Grants and Awards presents awards and publicizes the results. The Director of Grants and Awards will provide an overview of upcoming fellowship to the Executive Board. The Director of Grants and Awards assists the President as necessary and serves on the Regional Conference Planning Committee with the Vice President. The Director of Grants and Awards is a member of the Executive Board. (2-year commitment)

Member-at-Large: supports PCCHA communications by creating and managing social media content and assisting with outreach to PCCHA members, helping to elevate awareness, engagement, and timely sharing of affiliate updates and initiatives. (2-year commitment)

Student Representative: responsible for representing the interests of college students and serves as a member of the Executive Board. The Student Representative will assist the secretary with publishing the quarterly PCCHA newsletters and assist the Vice President with conference planning
