We’re excited to introduce a brand-new way to explore and visualize your NCHA data in the Data Hub: Create Your Own NCHA Reports.

This powerful new feature puts you in control—making it easier than ever to answer the questions that matter most to your institution. For example, you might want to explore how stress levels among undergraduate students have changed over time, or examine mental health indicators for first-year students in your most recent survey cycle. In just a few clicks, you can select the relevant NCHA questions, apply student and institutional filters, and compare your results to an appropriate reference group.

With Create Your Own NCHA Reports, you can:

  • Build custom reports using one or two NCHA survey questions—such as pairing sleep and academic impact items to explore how rest relates to student success
  • Apply institutional and student-level filters to focus on specific populations, like looking at substance use patterns among graduate students or well-being outcomes for students living on campus
  • View results your way, whether you need a single survey snapshot for a presentation or a trends view to show changes across survey years
  • Compare your data to reference groups, giving added context when sharing insights with campus partners or leadership

The experience is intuitive, flexible, and designed for exploration. Whether you’re preparing a report for senior leadership, responding to a time-sensitive data request, or visualizing trends to inform programming decisions, this new reporting option offers a whole new way to understand and communicate your institution’s NCHA data with confidence.
