About the 2026-2028 ACHA Strategic Plan

The American College Health Association’s elected and appointed leaders, together with its professional staff, share a responsibility to steward the association in service of its mission: empowering college health and well-being professionals to nurture and sustain healthy campus communities. This responsibility reflects a special trust to act in the best interests of the association and its members and to advance the field of college health and well-being with integrity, care, and accountability.

Implementation of ACHA’s Strategic Plan is guided by thoughtful stewardship of the association’s resources. Sustainable infrastructure, sound decision-making, and responsible financial management are essential to ensuring that ACHA can continue to serve members and advance student health and success over time.

Accordingly, the initiatives outlined in this plan are pursued with attention to both impact and feasibility. Financial health, membership strength, and organizational capacity are foundational considerations throughout implementation. All activities are evaluated through their value to members and their contribution to advancing college health and well-being across higher education.
