The SCHA Annual Meeting Program Planning Committee is accepting program proposals for the 2024 Annual Meeting. The deadline to submit proposals is November 21, 2023.
In line with SCHA’s mission and vision, we welcome proposals from clinical staff, professionals, administrators, and educators, who are committed to the enhancement and advancement of health for all students and their campus community. Given our theme, “Strength in Our Diversity,” we encourage participants to consider the role of equity and inclusion in their proposals.
We are particularly interested in programs that focus on best practices/expertise in the areas of:
- Clinical services: medical, nutrition, nursing, psychiatry, psychology, social work, pharmacy.
- Evidenced based medical evaluations and treatment for STIs, LGTBQ care, sports physicals, common MSK injuries, and women’s health
- Best nursing practices
- Interesting case presentations and/or case series in all clinical disciplines.
- Pharmacological updates
- Nutritional updates in eating disorders, resource limited populations, fad diets
- Mental Health:
- Approaches to support the unique mental health needs of college aged students
- Evaluation and management of students in crisis
- Interesting case presentations and/or case series in all clinical disciplines.
- Case management for high-risk students
- Pharmacological updates for primary care providers
- Administration:
- Practice management
- Leadership development
- Assessment
- Technology and Operations
- Quality improvement
- Insurance and billing
- Budget and finance
- Human Resources
- Health Promotion/Wellness:
- Equity, diversity, and inclusion
- Health communications and marketing
- Promoting self-care and resilience
- Public Health

How to Submit a Proposal
The online form below must be entered in one sitting, therefore...
- Compile your program proposal using the
Program Submission Form [MS Word].

For each co-presenter, complete a separate Co-Presenter Bio and Disclosure Form [MS Word] and save each under a file name beginning with the co-presenter's LAST NAME
- Once you are sure all information is complete and can be entered
online in one sitting, cut and paste the information from your proposal
worksheet into the online form below. At the end of the form, you will
be required to attach your Program Submission Worksheet and all
Co-Presenter Forms.
