PCCHA 2018 Annual Conference:
Waves of Change: Creating a Culture of Health
October 7-10, 2018
Hilton Waikiki Beach Hotel, Oahu, Hawaii
UPDATE ON VOLCANIC ACTIVITY IN HAWAII
Is the active volcano on Hawaii impacting the island of Oahu where PCCHA2018 will be held?
We understand your concern regarding the volcano activity on the island of Hawaii. However, the volcano is 212 miles away from Oahu. The wind direction does not affect the air quality on Oahu. From an aviation perspective, the lava-heavy activity at Kilauea is unlike the ash-heavy eruption of Iceland’s volcano that forced thousands of flight cancellations in 2010.
Please join us in Honolulu, Hawaii, for the PCCHA 2018 Annual Conference and Meeting,“Waves of Change: Creating a Culture of Health”
The PCCHA 2018 annual conference in Honolulu will provide expanded opportunities for networking, learning, professional development and the accumulation of Continuing Education Units in order to further your certifications and credentials. Our content has something for everyone; appealing to professionals in college health clinical operations, administration, health promotion, counseling services, and student affairs professionals who support student well-being.
Who Should Attend
Professionals from all aspects of college health will find the conference content to be relevant. Faculty or staff interested in “creating a culture of health” to support student well-being may also find content applicable to their work.
In addition to a great overall program, Honolulu, the main gateway to Hawaii and a major portal into the United States, provides guests with great opportunities to see and explore its wonderful location and all that this great island has to offer.
