The Celebration

ACHA’s 100th Anniversary

In 1920, representatives from 53 institutions of higher education met in Chicago and established the American Student Health Association, which later became the American College Health Association. These visionaries formed the foundation for what ACHA is today—the voice for student health, mental health, and wellness, standing at the forefront of issues that impact our college students. In 2020, we honor our legacy while planning for the future and all the opportunities that exist for ACHA and its members to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the nations’ college students.
