Fees View Webinar and Handouts Instructions for Obtaining Credit
Designed for mental health providers well-versed in basic concepts and terminology related to gender identity, transgender and gender nonconforming, this webinar focuses on common presenting concerns of trans students; how providers can do their own work around gender and create affirming therapeutic environments; and discussion points for students preparing to transition (socially or medically). How counseling center, health center, and student life staff can effectively collaborate to meet trans students’ needs will also be discussed.
This webinar was conducted by the ACHA LGBTQ+ Health Coalition and is a companion to the webinar "Primary Care for Transgender and Gender Nonconforming Patients" (you are not required to view one webinar to view the other). Software support for this webinar series is made possible through the generous
support of the American College Health Foundation.
