Join the ACHF Bequest Society

Those who are interested in planning ahead by making a "leave behind gift" to the foundation through an estate plan, can do so by contacting the ACHF office for information on how to become part of the ACHF Bequest Society. Individuals wishing to provide support to ACHF through a bequest but have already completed their wills can do so easily and inexpensively by adding a codicil.

Become a Partner for Wellness

ACHF works to create and strengthen mutually beneficial relationships with for-profit entities interested in advancing the health of students through their college years and beyond. The ACHF Partners for Wellness [pdf] makes it possible for corporations to invest in college students through the allocation of their charitable contributions to the Foundation in the form of sustaining grant funding and other opportunities to support research, educational programs and special projects promoting college health. All for-profit entities working with and/or supporting college health are eligible to become members of this group with a minimum donation. Contact the ACHF office to join us: "Partners for Wellness — Educating, Supporting and Healing."

Make a commemorative donation

Contributions can be made in honor of or in memory of another person, including through the Foundation Stars Program:

Foundation Stars Program

Make a contribution to ACHF in honor of a retiree's years of dedicated service to the field of college health! A group of individuals may also combine their contributions to make a larger gift in honor of a colleague. See the current list of Foundation Stars recipients.

ACHF accepts contributions via cash, transferred stock, and life insurance policies.

ACHF funds are combined together and held in a separate investment portfolio managed by the firm of Morgan Stanley. The account is monitored on a monthly basis to assure the investment mix is providing ample earnings while remaining conservative to protect the fund corpus. Only earnings are used for disbursement purposes. Final decisions regarding the disbursements of earnings are made by the ACHF Board upon recommendation of the ACHA executive director.

Under most circumstances, contributions to ACHF are tax-deductible. Receipts are automatically provided for all contributions over $250. Receipts for contributions less than $250 are available upon request.
