ACHA Signs Letter to DHS Secretary Regarding Processing of DACA Renewals
ACHA joined other higher
education associations in signing a letter to commend the decision of the Department of Homeland Security
(DHS) to initiate the renewal process for current Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals
(DACA) registrants. The signers expressed support for this decision, emphasized the importance of timely processing all DACA renewal applications,
encouraged DHS and United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to
expedite the review and processing of all renewal applications and give prompt attention to
submissions that have recently expired or will expire in the coming days and weeks. Read the letter here.

ACHA National Faculty and Staff Health Assessment
ACHA is pleased to announce the release of the ACHA National Faculty and Staff Health Assessment (ACHA-NFSHA). Modeled after the ACHA National College Health Assessment, NFSHA is designed specifically for faculty, staff, and graduate student employees working on college and university campuses and can assist schools in meeting the health and wellness needs of their employees.

ACHA Leadership Institute
ACHA is pleased to announce the new ACHA Leadership Institute. As part of this new initiative, college health and wellness professionals will be able to pursue a robust series of courses leading to a brand new certification – the College Health and Wellness Professional (CHWP).
