Affiliate New Professionals Award Nominations

Nominations Criteria and Process

This award recognizes ACHA members who have provided service to the field of college health for FIVE years or less and who have made significant contributions to their institutions and/or affiliate.

How to Nominate a Candidate for Affiliate New Professionals Awards

1. ACHA members should submit their New Professional recommendations directly to the President of their ACHA affiliate. Nomination packages include:

Write a letter of nomination.
Have at least one colleague write a letter of support.
Send all letters to the president of the respective affiliate by TBD.

2. The Executive Board of each affiliate selects one award recipient and forwards this information to the ACHA National Office.

Eligibility of Candidate

At the time of selection by the affiliate Executive Board, candidates must be an ACHA Affiliate/Individual member in good standing.

Note to Affiliate Executive Boards:
As the Executive Board for your affiliate, you will be responsible for selecting a New Professional Award recipient from the nominations submitted to you. Please wait to select the recipient until after the nomination deadline. Only one recipient per affiliate may be selected.

ACHA Affiliate Chairs must notify the National Office of your selection by TBD via the Affiliate New Professional Selection Form.
