2011 Annual Meeting Community Service Project
"The Inter Tribal Council of Arizona Dental Prevention and Clinical Support (ITCA DPCSC would like to thank its partner, the American College Health Association for the generous dental prevention supply and incentive donations..." >> Letter from ITCA DPCSC.
This year's Annual Meeting Community Service Project was a resounding success thanks to the many generous attendees! ACHA's Students/Consumers Section, which organized the project, collected dental supplies for the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona's (ITCA) Dental Prevention and Clinical Support Center. At the Diversity Reception on Wednesday, June 1, attendees had the chance to make dental kits using the donated supplies. 300 kits were assembled and picked up by the ITCA, along with six more boxes full of dental supplies.
The purpose of the Inter Tribal Council of Arizona's Dental Prevention and Clinical Support Center is to assist Tribal, urban American Indian, and Indian Health Service dental programs in the Phoenix and Tucson areas in supporting clinical services, effective program management, and prevention activities.
ACHA would like to thank everyone who made a donation to this community service project.
