Orlando — Fun in the Sun!

Explore Orlando!
Whether you are traveling alone or bringing the family, you will find non-stop activity in this popular destination. Orlando began as “the city built on an orange peel,” but left its agricultural roots behind to become a hotbed of tourism, and Orlando strives to ensure that anyone who enters its city limits will have something to see or do. You won’t have to look hard to find something to do in Orlando and the surrounding area! While Orlando is often thought of as a city of amusements parks — and it does have them in spades — there is so much more to do that you may have trouble finding time for it all! There are several art and history museums, a zoo, and a science center. The adventure-seeking visitor can experience the thrill of floating high above in a hot-air balloon ride or skimming across the water in an airboat. For the nature lover, right inside the city there are three miles of paved scenic walkways that take you through 50 acres of gardens at the Harry P. Leu Gardens. Or you can explore the Florida wilderness with eco-safaris in nearby St. Cloud.
