Orlando Sightseeing Tour Descriptions

ACHA and USA Hosts Florida have teamed up to offer you exciting tours around Orlando and areas outside the city. Take a boat tour of a scenic town, tour the Kennedy Space Center, enjoy a guided tour of the city’s art museum, learn to cook delicious Asian food, shop at one of the best outlet malls, or explore the native wildlife. Tours include transportation, taxes, and gratuities.

Pre-registration for tours and excursions is now closed. Additional tour tickets may be purchased onsite and are cash only (subject to availability and a $5 per person per tour service charge). Kennedy Space Center

Tuesday, June 3
9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Price: $90 (includes admission)

Plan on a full day to explore NASA’s launch headquarters. Each year, millions of visitors make the trek to this hub of technology and discovery, where many of mankind’s greatest accomplishments take place. Tour NASA’s launch and landing facilities, experience live shows, jaw-dropping encounters with massive rockets, and have the opportunity to meet a real member of NASA’s Astronaut Corps. It’s all part of an inspiring day at Kennedy Space Center.

Your exploration of Kennedy Space Center starts with one of their world-renowned tours, where you see many NASA facilities, including the massive launch pads, the gigantic Vehicle Assembly Building, and the awe-inspiring Apollo/Saturn V Center. There is also much to do at the Visitor Complex. View 10-story high rockets from all eras of space exploration in the Rocket Garden, walk through a full-size Space Shuttle mock-up, enjoy IMAX Theater space films on gigantic five-story screens, and see an actual Gemini program capsule on display. Shopping and food concessions are also available.

Orlando Museum of Art

The Orlando Museum of Art is dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting notable works of art. Featuring Art of the Ancient Americas, American Portraits and Landscapes and Contemporary Art in its permanent exhibits, the Orlando Museum of Art also offers exciting and diverse traveling exhibits of local, regional, national and international significance.

Nearby Winter Park is filled with art, culture, and scenery! Winter Park’s charm is displayed in hidden gardens, side streets and a chain of beautiful lakes. Running through the heart of Winter Park is Park Avenue. Bordered by a shady park that plays host to concerts and art festivals, Park Avenue is home to one-of-a-kind boutiques and well-known shops, sidewalk cafés, as well as world-renowned art collections in the area’s museums. Often called “Little Europe,” Park Avenue is a year-round destination that is sure to charm visitors of all ages.

Take the Scenic Boat Tour that cruises canals between the city’s lakes overlooking the area’s most prestigious homes. The relaxing, narrated, one hour, 12 mile cruise through the beautiful lakes and canals is really the only way to see the true beauty of Winter Park which includes Rollins College, Kraft Azalea Gardens, Isle of Sicily, tropical birds, plants, flowers and magnificent mansions.

Ming Court Cooking Class

Fun, entertaining, informative, and incredibly delicious! These are the words that best describe Ming Court’s cooking Class program for groups of 20 or more.This popular program features a choice of three sensational luncheon menus and runs between two to three hours. Guests are introduced to the origins of Oriental cuisine, authentic cooking techniques and special ingredients used in the preparation of Chinese cuisine.

Presentations are conducted by a senior staff member and the cooking demonstration is conducted by the Executive Chef. The program focuses on cuisine that can be prepared at home using common ingredients and household cooking equipment. Guests have a competition to see who makes the best Spring Roll!

Tickets to the Disney World and Universal theme parks are available in advance through the Tour Registration Form and onsite in the ACHA Registration Area. Please see the Tour Registration Form for pricing information. Prices include admission only; transportation is not included.
